The Casper Co. listed from 1900-1907. The Wilsons have the Company in business 1900-1907; listed 1902-1906 as rectifiers and wholesalers. NC outlawed distilling in 1906 and went dry in 1908. Casper bought whiskey from Yadkin and Davie county distilleries and built a large mail order business supplying the South, East and Mid-West. He occupied a block of buildings from Main to Church Sts. until forced to move by legal restrictions to Roanoake VA then Jacksonville FL and later Ft.
