Bayer, Schwartz & Co. listed from 1903-1906. This glass is not listed, but see HSG, p. 75, entry #6. "Golden Hill" was a Bayer, Schwartz & Co. (Columbus, OH) brand, but branches of the Golden Hill Liquor Co., and later the Golden Hill Distilling Co., can be found in several cities in Ohio. Presumably this was a later incarnation of Bayer, Schwartz & Co., since they cease listing around the same time that Golden Hill appears. Brand names used by this company include: "Genesta", "Golden Hill", "Grover Rye", and "Red Lion." Company name timeline: Bayer, Schwartz & Co.
