Leopold Sonnenschein (German for "sunshine") was a wholesaler, 1880-1918. His main brands were "Sunrise" and "Sunshine Old Reserve" (1903, 1907). "Sunshine" was used by G & B Gerdes Co of Cincinnati, OH., and the Wolff Distilling Co., Louisville, KY. Brand names used by this company include: "Mechanic's Delight", "Sunrise", "Sunshine Old Reserve", and "Sunshine Old Reserve Rye."
