Notes:

The Wilsons note that Henry D Naber was in business with Ernest Brand from at least 1875 and formed a partnership with Henry Brune and William Alfs in 1880. The relationship lasted until Prohibition.

Edmonson (in HSG) quoted Snyder as showing the CA firm registering the Phoenix brand in 1891 but in his book "Whiskey Brands" has it attributed (1891, 1905) to Monheimer of Chicago, IL.
