  Beaded Labels

The second most common form of label is composed of thousands of tiny glass beads that were fused to the surface of the glass.  To the naked eye, such labels appear to be composed of sugar and hence the glasses are sometimes called "sugar-etched".  These labels are much harder wearing that the more typical etched variety and stand out well in a display case.  

'Kay Be Club' is an unlisted and unidentified glass 'Dallemand Cream Rye' The firm started out in San Francisco and later moved to Chicago 'Magnus Whiskey', from the Jos. A Magnus, Co. of Cincinnati, OH.  The owner is better known for 'Murray Hill' glasses that are etched with a similar beaded design.
