There are two books that all pre-pro shot glass
collectors should own. Both were written by Barbara Edmonson and
are referred to frequently throughout this site by their acronyms
“HSG” and “OASG”. They contain well-written histories of pre-pro
shot glasses and their manufacture. They also contain extensive
listings of glasses with drawings, information regarding ownership
of the brands, and approximated (though dated) values. When a shot
glass is described as “unlisted”, it means that it doesn’t appear
in either HSG or OASG.
