Message: I think it's partly a matter of personal taste - a mirrored background is favored by some people, but I prefer felt -- the darker the better. Personally, I like blood red - not only does it remind me of how much I had to bleed to get the good ones, but also the red compliments the gold rims perfectly. If you can put a light in there too, so much the better. Take a look at Ken Schwatz' displays for an idea of how much a light can enhance a dsiplay. Replies to this post
