How rare and sought after would a full and unopened bottle of cognac from the 1870's or 1880's be?
At an antique show a guy had a bunch of empty liquor bottles from the 1870's with their original labels, and one was still full and sealed.
Bottle is 4/5 quart made in a 3 piece mold with an applied top. Label says "Special Otard Brandy Park & Tilford" of New York city. Research shows the label and bottle to be from the 1870's-80's.
Cork is sealed with red wax stamped "Tilford".
Any thoughts?
