I'm guessing that JD glass goes back to the time when the Gunter brothers were the sole agents for Jack Daniel's whiskey in Nashville. That would date it before 1910 when Tennessee went dry. This is the first time I've seen one of these glasses offered for sale. Prior to now, I've only seen it in books and on some websites. I've never seen one in the really. I'm guessing this glass will sell well over $1000, and it might even crack the $2000 mark. That's just my guess, but I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people who could offer some better insight.
