We do our best to eliminate unpleasant “surprises” and strive to honestly describe the item as if you were holding it in your hand. Color is often a matter of personal interpretation. High Life / Kentucky ornate picture of an eagle with both hemispheres of the world clutched in the talons of each claw Bourbon / Cream (“Trade Mark”  is situated above eagles wing tips at top center); S.A. Arata of Portland Oregon owned the brand and this exceptionally ornate picture glass was produced for them ca. 1901, an embossed and labeled example of the picture cylinder is in my collection – the label is identical to the etching on this glass. Free of post production excuses the etch is crisp and detailed with only slight thinning. Fancy & rare.
