The Anderson County Distillery
RD #13, 8 th District
Anderson County, KY

Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction. The property included cattle in pens 30 ft west of the still, and four warehouses:
Warehouse A, 1 -- frame construction with a shingle roof, 55 ft SW of the still.
Warehouse B, 2 -- frame construction with a shingle roof, 55 ft SW of the still and 4 ft from "A".
Warehouse C, 3 -- frame construction with a metal or slate roof, 250 ft SE of the still.
Free Warehouse -- frame construction with a metal or slate roof, 200 ft SE of the still.

At that time, it was owned by John E Day, operating as "Anderson County Distillery".
