| Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction, measured 20 x 34 ft, and had a capacity of less than 5 bushels. The property included a single 15 x 13 ft bonded warehouse located 75 ft north of the distillery. It was also of frame construction with a shingle roof. At that time the still was being operated by J D Shotwell. |
