Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery hed been destroyed by fire. The property included two single bonded warehouses: Warehouse A -- stone with a metal or slate roof, located 200 ft east of the still. Warehouse B -- frame with a shingle roof, located 225 ft east of the still. At that time, it was being operated by by J W Masters, late James Leech, and Milliere & Turner, H R Robinson "Beech Spring Distillery". |
