W C Peacock & Co. Ltd. listed from 1899. Close-up of the seal: The premises at Nuuanu Ave and Merchant St was built by W. C. Peacock in 1889-1890 when Merchant St was widened. Known as the Royal Saloon Building, it is one-story brick structure with cast iron ornamentation and white stucco pilasters, balustrade, and cornice.
