Barclay's (script) / BLACK LABEL / BLENDED WHISKEY

ID#: RRP1478
How do I buy this glass?
see details below
Glass Category:Liquor advertising
Glass Type:Thicker-walled shot, 12 inside panels
Label Type:Usual white-etched label, gold rim with gold fill line
Dimensions:2-1/8 " x 1-3/4 " x 1-5/16"
Edmonson:OASG, p. 29, entry #4
Notes:
Edmonson (OASG) cites Snyder as saying that this is a Cincinnati glass from Gluck & Co, who owned the Barclay brand. However, it looks much like the many Hiram Walker glasses, which are probably Canadian in origin. This suggests either that the attribution is incorrect or that Gluck & Co. (or their brand) continued through Prohibition and may be post Repeal.
