J M Gellert listed from 1899-1905. Jacob M Gellert was in business under his name from 1899 to 1905. He started out in Portland as a part of Lipman, Gellert & Co. Lipman & Co. bought out C M Postman & Co., a wholesale liquor operation at 232 Washington St., in 1891. Gellert joined in 1893 and by 1899 bought out his partners and operated it alone (Thomas, WBO).
