Listed in directories at least 1894-1920. Business address: 119 N 3 rd (1894), 253 N 3 rd (1895-1920).

PO&N: The business was started by Leopold Brunhild and his brother in Wilmington, NC. In 1885, the firm became Brunhild, (Leopold) Simon & Co. and in 1893 moved to Philadelphia. The owners were German-born. The Philadelphia premises were 4 storey plus a basement, 22 x 90 feet in area. They also had a NY office at 52 Beaver. Street.

By 1921, both owners have disappeared from the directories.

Brand names used by this company include: "Cabinet", "Monogram", and "White Squadron."
