A handled, canteen-style stoneware jug with an albany slip glaze from Barton W Hooper & Bro. of Nashville, TN. It stands about 12-1/2" tall with a 10" in diameter, 4" wide, and has a capacity of one gallon. One side is embossed with the company name and location. The obverse is unmarked.
