A metal paperweight from J & A Freiberg, Distillers of Cincinnati, OH. It is made in the form of a Daschund and measures 4" in length, 1-7/8" wide, 2-1/2" high. One side of the base is embossed with "COMPLIMENTS OF J & A FREIBERG", the obverse reads "CINCINNATI OHIO". The bottom is stamped "JANUARY 1ST 1896"
