A wooden shipping crate from the S J Greenbaum Distillery of Midway, KY. The side panels show that it contained a dozen fifths of Bell of Lexington Sour Mash, a brand owned by the Woodford Distillery Co. of Chicago, IL. The rear assures that "This Whiskey is Bottled / at the Distillery / Under Government Supervision / Which is an Absolute / Guarantee of Purity."

The crate measures 16" wide, 12" deep, 12" tall and dates to around 1908.
