Est. 1873.
The company is believed to have started out in Denison, TX.

Patricia Chadwell, Head of the Southwest and Genealogy Dept. at the Forth Worth Public Library, wrote in a letter to Bob Snyder in Oct. 1973: "Around 1900, they marketed a whiskey under the name Rubaiyat, and published an edition of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayam as a promotion, which is now a collector's item. Milton L. Eppstein (son), who lived in Ft. Worth, also owned a stock farm, which is why, I guess, they marketed their whiskey in Texas as Jersey Cream".

Jersey Cream was distilled in Midway, KY. by the Glenarme Distillery (RD #7, 9th District) and also by R E Wathen (RD #19 of the 5th District of KY?).

The company used the brand names:
"Crystal Brook", "Dixie Club", "Honeysuckle", "Jersey Cream", "Myrtle Springs", "Oaken Bucket", "Old Royalty", "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam", "Silver Wedding", and "Tarpon Club."
