B J Semmes & Co. consisted of Benedict Joseph Semmes, Joseph Malcolm Semmes, and Raphael Eustace Semmes (1897). By 1914, Benedict Joseph Semmes has disappered from the company.

They were proprietors of the Yannissee Distillery, Greenbrier, TN (5th District).
