Nelson County Dist. of Louisville, KY owned and operated the Coon Hollow distillery at Coon Hollow Station in Nelson County. The distillery sat next to and was operated in conjunction with the Big Spring distillery, which also had offices in Louisville.

In 1900, the operation was sold to the whiskey trust and the Coon Hollow brand re-registered to Kentucky Distilleries & Warehouse Co.
