Loretto KY is shown to have several "Burks" associated with it. Snyder attributes "Burk's Spring" to Geo. R. Burks, who also used the "Happy Hollow" brand, but there was also a "Belle of Loretto" and "Locust Grove" brand used by Burk Spring Distillers. Presumably they were related. Edmonson shows a near identical glass to this one in HSG (31, entry #4) but with T.L.Smith and Sons associated with Boston, MA.
