Crystal Springs Distillery Co. listed from 1867-1914. The Crystal Springs Distillery Co. operated two distilleries at 1st & Magnolia Sts (RD #3 and RD #78). Coyte says the plants were operated by John Callaghan and others from the 1870s to 1880, when Callaghan joined the newly organized Belle of Marion Distillery Co. Crystal Springs continued making the brand for F Jaeger until 1908, when the Trust in the shape of Kentucky Distilleries & Warehouse Co. assumed operation until 1917 (Coyte papers, cited in OASG, 1988).
