Bonnie Bros. listed from 1872-1919. In 1892, "Bonnie, Murphy & Co." were drawing liquor from warehouses of the J B Wathen & Bro. Co. distillery (RD #363, 5th Dist. of KY) and the Fern Cliff Distillery (RD #409, 5th Dist.): see the respective distillery listing pages for more details. They also had an involvement in the Crystal Springs Distilleries (RD #3 and RD #78) in Louisville. Bonnie Bros. cited 1874 as the date that they were established, even though the company was in business under a different name prior to that date. They ultimately purchased the J G Mattingly & Sons' distillery in Louisville (RD #6, KY 6th District) to supply liquor for their wholesale business.
