Anderson County, KY

Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction with a metal or slate roof. The property included four bonded warehouses:
Warehouse A 1 -- shown as being stone with a metal or slate roof, but no longer being used. Located 92 ft west of the still

Warehouse C 3 -- frame construction with a metal or slate roof, 360 ft west of the still.
Warehouse D 4 -- frame construction with a metal or slate roof, 118 ft east of the still.
Warehouse E 5 -- frame construction with a metal or slate roof, 230 ft west of the still.

At that time, it was owned by T H Bond & Bro., late Hawkins & Bond, operating as "Hawkins Bros."

By 1912, the Kentucky Valley Distilling Co. of Buffalo, NY was claiming to be sole controllers of the "Old Hawkins" brand being produced by this distillery.
