John McGlinn is listed as Treasurer of Boyle & McGlinn in 1895, as Secretary in 1900, and President of John McGlinn & Co. by 1905. He clearly had his fingers in many other pies also. The 1919/1920 directory shows the officers of the John J McGlinn Distilling Co. as being: William J McGlinn, Pres., John, VP., Jas. J. Dougherty, Treas, and Chas R. Haig, Sec.
In 1925, John J McGlinn is still in evidence, now Pres. of the Continental Equitable Title & Trust Co., the Philadelphia Brewing Co., and Fairhill Ice Co.
