The Schauer Distilling Co. listed from 1902-1918.
This is just a hunch, but the characteristics of the "Co." and the lettering in "Dayton" both scream George Truog.
Schauer bought in bulk. Listed 1903-1918 (HSG). Directories suggest that the company was first established in 1902 at 115 E. Third St., Jos. Schauer, President. In 1912 the company expanded to 135 E. Third St. (President: W.H. Kiester, Vice President: John E. Schauer). By 1918 they had expanded to 23-25 S. St. Clair St.
Prohibition killed this company by 1920, J.E. Schauer worked at the United Tire Co. at 104 E. Third St.
