The company existed under various guises from at least 1886 until 1919 or later. They were located at 320 5 th Ave from 1892 until 1895, at which point the address changed to 1028 5 th Ave due to a city-wide street renumbering.
Brand names used by this company include: "Melrose", "Mount Union", "P. P. R.", "Popular Price Rye", "Popular Price Rye", and "Tioga."
