Chas Pollak & Co. listed from 1913-1918. The "Perfection" brand has been claimed by several companies, including John Bardenheier Co. of St. Louis (R: 1905) and Jos. Thompson Distillers of Atlanta, GA. This and its sister Chicago glass are something of a puzzle. Both issuers claim to be "Sole Proprietors" and have the same muscled figure, but the companies were distinct. Chas Pollak & Co. listed from 1913-1918 and were based first at 1652 W 12 th (1913), and later at 3926 W 12 th (1914-1918). Adolph Beck & Co. were in directories from 1897-1918. They started out at 715 W 12 th (1897-1909), moved to 1652 W 12 th (1910), and then to 4320 Wentworth Ave. (1913-1918). Note that Beck and Pollak share the 1652 W 12 th address, which must be significant. There are no other brands recorded for either company. Brand names used by this company include: "Perfection."
