A one-pint clear glass flask with a paper label that shows that it once Gibson's Brand Pure Rye Whiskey. It was distilled at John Gibson's Son & Co's. Gibsonton Mills plant in Westmoreland Co., PA by the Gibson Distilling Co of Philadelphia, PA. Although made in 1914, the packaging and neck label show that it was bottled and sold in 1925 for medicinal purposes during Prohibition. The box (see rear) stands is 9" high, 3-1/2" wide, 2" deep. The bottle stands 8 -7/8" high.
