T & A Goux listed from 1890-1905.
According to OASG, Jules Emile Goux arrived in Santa Barbara from Lyons, France in the mid 1800s as a representative of the French Consulate in Los Angeles. He lists as a liquor dealer in 1875.
In 1887, Thomas and Augustin Goux, his sons, established the business. They had a winehouse at W Figueroa & State Sts and a brewery in the rear of the store. They were sole agents for Manhattan Club.
