E C Jörgensen & Co. listed from 1877-1905. This glass must date to 1902-1905 (see Thomas, WBO) Business originally Marx & Jörgensen. Daniele Marx began business then partnered with Emil C. Jörgensen in 1877. They were wholesalers and retailers. In 1902, Daniele Marx sold out and the Company became E C Jörgensen & Co, with Carl F Batholoma (Vice President) and Max Fleischauer (Secretary), the latter two being silent partners to whom Marx has sold his share of the business.
