Ralph is a prominent figure in the bottle-collecting world, famous for his obsession with "The Genuine" flask shown above.  Those of you who haunt eBay will recognize his derived handle, "thegenuineflask".

Ralph recently finished a term as President of the FOHBC and is currently working on a reference volume on Western bottles and flasks.

Update: Everyone in the bottle and shot glass-collecting community was deeply saddened to learn of Ralph's untimely death in September, 2018 at the age of 63 years. A native of CA, he was a dentist by profession. He was generous in his support of his hobby and his fellow collectors and he will be greatly missed.
