Milk is a much better choice of fluid when it comes to displaying a label but now the problem is that the background is too light.

Ironically enough, light fluids tend to be much better in providing contrast for a label than dark ones, mainly because the labels on these old glasses have almost always become darkened through exposure to air-borne grime (such as tobacco smoke) and from handling.

The problem here is that the background is TOO light and the label is indistinct. I wonder if the photographer used whole milk or skimmed?
