I'm not sure what the lighting set-up is here but photographing glasses with white-etched labels against a white background is always a recipe for disaster. It looks as if the light source is fairly intense because it's created a strong and well-defined shadow and that's difficult to achieve without direct sunlight. Replace the background with something darker and the problem would have been fixed.
