Although there is a county in New York State named Onondaga, this is most likely a souvenir glass from the Onondaga cave in Missouri. It was opened as a tourist attraction in 1902 and named in 1904 after the same Iroquois Native American tribe whose traditional homeland was in present-day Onondaga County, NY.
