WHEELING / COMMANDERY / No. 1 (text is tsp on a fancy etched panel embellished with curlicue designs and a tsp border) / (etched cross adorned with an etched crown. The two arms of the cross bear tsp letters K and T to left and right, respectively. An etched ribbon is wound around the cross upright and features a motto in tsp letters: IN HOC SIGNO VINCES) / 1838 1898 (dates appear to left and right of the cross at bottom)
