This glass is not listed, but OASG, p. 78 has other Ben Franklin glasses.
Brand was also used by S.F. Petts of Boston, MA. but this glass was purchased in WI so it's likely that it had a Chicago origin.
"successor to M W Kerwin & Co. and Daniel Delaney, wholesale dealers in wines and whiskies" (1888).
Delaney & Murphy are shown in business from 1879 to 1918, first as Daniel Delaney (1879-1887) then Delaney & Murphy (1888-1918). They were located at 6-12 Wabash (1888-1910), this changed to 219 N Wabash Ave during street renumbering (1911), and ended their career at 221-223 W Randolph (1913-1918).
By 1917, their letterhead identifies an association with the Willow Springs distillery in Coon Hollow, KY.
Brand names used by this company include: "Ben Franklin Rye", "Midway Club ", and "Queen of Kentucky ."
