Kaehler Bros. listed from 1908-1916.
The business was owned by three brothers who each took a city - George in Fresno, Reinhold (my grandfather) in Merced and Max in Los Banos. They sold Rainier Beer; I have a 14k gold fob with a bas relief of Mt. Rainier on it (similar to the picture on the bottle of the time) and my grandfather's initials and "Merced". I speculate it was some sort of award from the company.
Kaehler Bros went out of business when Prohibition was enacted and the owners retired as country gentlemen.
Information kindly provided by Karen Kaehler, October 2009.
Brand names used by this company include: "Mt. Sterling."
