Notes:
Charles H. Boone and Nicholas R. Boone (Boone & Bro.) who were descendents of Wattie Boone. Wattie was one of the county's first distillers and the cousin of legendary Daniel Boone. They purchased RD #422 near Bardstown which had previously been run by R B Hayden. Frank N. Boone became their distiller. Orene Parker of Covington had a share in the distillery and was selling its product through his wholesale outlets under the "Old Boone" and Parker's "Old Maid" brand names. In 1902 or 1903, the distillery and Old Boone Brand was sold to Thixton, Millett & Co., who moved operations to Chicago, KY., where they owned RD #11, 5th District.
