The Casper Co. listed from 1900-1907.
The Wilsons have the Company in business 1900-1907; listed 1902-1906 as rectifiers and wholesalers. NC outlawed distilling in 1906 and went dry in 1908. Casper bought whiskey from Yadkin and Davie county distilleries and built a large mail order business supplying the South, East and Mid-West. He occupied a block of buildings from Main to Church Sts. until forced to move by legal restrictions to Roanoake VA then Jacksonville FL and later Ft. Smith AR and Kansas City MO (OASG)
